The Beginnings
It was 1950. In a small shop, in the heart of the historic center of Sorrento, Salvatore Siniscalchi began his artisan business, immediately distinguishing himself for his strong passion for footwear and careful attention to the smallest details.
He personally selected and purchased the leathers and all the necessary accessories, always focusing on quality and accuracy of the packaging.
Later, it expanded its production to include men's and children's footwear, specializing and growing more and more.
His shoes were highly appreciated both for their style and for the variety of models in the catalogue. Thus Siniscalchi was born, a small company with a purely artisanal character.
The growth
In the early 90s, thanks to the new ideas of his son Giuseppe, the company began to take shape.
By making changes and improvements to the production plant and making itself known thanks to its professionalism and unmatched workmanship, it also gained trust from foreign countries, broadening its horizons, starting to export to England, Switzerland, America and the United States.
Over time, despite the notable changes, it manages to maintain its precise and guaranteed production methods, maintaining a high quality standard of all its footwear, which has always been unique and inimitable.
The new era
After more than three generations, having acquired a high level of know-how , matured in more than 60 years of experience in the footwear sector, Siniscalchi imposes its position by keeping up with the world of fashion by turning to the best designers, to always be updated and offer trendy models while respecting tradition. In addition to classic sandals, for example, it has embellished recent models with Swarovski stones, to fulfill the dreams of its customers.
